Where there is a need for temporary structures one solution is folding rostra. The steel understructure is hinged so to be able to be folded flat. The top deck has wooden square blocks on the underside. When the deck is fitted onto the open rostra, the blocks locate on the inside of tubular structure thus fixing it in the open position. Once the deck is removed the understructure can be folded away for easy storage.
