Fit Foods Ltd is a main supplier of Hot Nuts in Scotland with more than 70 customers and can supply any outlet in the UK. Our customers include several well known hotel and public house chains. Hot Nuts are sold by most of the major chains in selected outlets in the UK, If requested, customers will be contacted on a regular basis to make reordering a painless process.

10 kilogram box of Chilli or Brazilian festival Nuts ... £70.00 plus VAT.
6 kilogram box of Hot Thai or Curry Nuts ... £42.00 plus VAT.
This includes the free use of a warming cabinet. Delivery is free on orders of 2 or more boxes.

100 regular cups ... £3.75 plus VAT.
100 large cups ...£4.50 plus VAT.
Cups are required at the rate of 25 regular or 14 large cups per kilogram and the suggested selling price is 60p and £1 respectively. Cups are delivered free if ordered with boxes of nuts.

The costs of and returns from 1 kilogram of Hot Nuts are as follows: -
1 kilogram of Hot Nuts = £7.00 plus VAT.
25 regular cups @ 3.75p £0.94 plus VAT.
Total cost per kilogram £7.94 plus VAT.

25 cups sold @ 60p = £15.00.
Less VAT @ 17.5% = £ 2.23.
Nett sales = £12.77.

Profit per kilogram of Hot Nuts = £4.83.

This represents a mark up of 60.8%.

Some outlets charge more than 60p per regular cup and obviously achieve a greater mark up than this.
